‘Zootopia 2’ Director Jared Push Says Watching CM Punk And Roman Reigns Do ‘Zebros’ In Real Life Is ‘One Of The Most Ridiculous Things’ That He Ever Saw

The director of Zootopia 2 has commented on CM Punk and Roman Reigns playing the Zebros at the same time they were working together in WWE.

In the recently released movie Zootopia 2, both CM Punk and Roman Reigns play a pair of zebras known as the Zebros. During the 2024 Men’s War Games bout, the pair would team together and even acknowledged their movie role, something that the director of the movie took note of.

While speaking to Screen Off Script in a new interview, director of Zootopia 2, Jared Bush, would discuss the casting of the pair.

“I’d say we have an amazing casting department. Grace Kim is our head of casting, and she came, ‘we said, okay, we’re going to have these Zebras, what could be a really fun pair?’ She said, ‘all right, what about CM Punk and Roman Reigns?’ Immediately we were like, ‘oh my gosh, this is so perfect.’ What we didn’t know is that they were, right as the movie was going to come out- that they would be in the ring battling each other, and I will say that one of the most ridiculous things I ever saw was them battling each other at the end. CM Punk literally says to Roman, like, Zeros, and then Roman Reigns did it back, like, in real life? Oh my God, like, I can’t descript that better.”
