Zelina Vega: I’ve Had So Much Fun Every Time I’ve Gotten In The Ring With Trish Stratus

Zelina Vega reflects on working with Trish Stratus.

Stratus is a WWE superstar who has found herself transcending era’s over the past several years, making several in ring returns to face off with a litany of WWE’s current stars including the likes of Becky Lynch and current WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus to name but a few. One name who had the chance to work with Stratus says that she had so much fun working with the WWE Hall Of Famer.

While speaking to Robbie and Carley in a new interview, Zelina Vega highlighted her time working with Trish, noting that she had ‘so much fun’ working with one of her idols.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this out loud, but, I’ve had so much fun every time I’ve gotten in the ring with Trish Stratus. That’s insane to say. I remember when I first met her, I couldn’t help but say, ‘I was like, I hated you growing up.’ But it flew out of my mouth, and she just said, ‘thank you so much’, because that was her job, you know, back then and she was just so, like, she’s amazing. Every time we get in there, she’s just like, she’ll talk to me the whole time. She’s like, all right, this is going to hurt. She’ll chop me and I’m like, oh my God, I just got chopped by Trish Stratus. So yeah, it’s her or even just like, I don’t think that Rey understands how much he still has such a big impact. Like I geek out every time I see his name pop up on my phone or I’m still next to him. I’m like, oh my God, Dominik.”
