Zane Jay Finishes Up As NJPW Young Lion, Joins United Empire Faction
Callum Newman welcomed him into the faction.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling kicked off its Road to The New Beginning tour on January 19th, and the opening matches were first-round bouts in the 2026 New Japan Cup tournament.
Daiki Nagai took on Zane Jay, and Jay got himself disqualified by hitting Nagai across the head with a chair. It was then signaled that Jay would be joining the United Empire faction.
Backstage, Jay appeared alongside United Empire’s Callum Newman, and Jay confirmed that he is done as an NJPW Young Lion. Newman then welcomed him into United Empire.

United Empire currently consists of Great-O-Khan, HENARE, Francesco Akira, Callum Newman, Jakob Austin Young, Andrade El Idolo, Jake Lee, and Zane Jay.
