Young Bucks: We Want Tag Team Wrestling To Be At The Forefront Of AEW, Now Both Women And Men Get To Showcase That

The Young Bucks tout the introduction of Women’s Tag Titles in AEW.
The company is in the midst of a tournament that will eventually crown the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions. As of publish time, Megan Bayne/Marina Shafir, Toni Storm/Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron/Willow Nightingale, and Julia Hart/Skye Blue are the remaining duos in the tournament.
Speaking with Vice for a new interview, the Young Bucks talked about always wanting tag team wrestling to be at the forefront of AEW.
“Like you’ve said, that was the goal when we started this thing. We want tag team wrestling to be at the forefront of the company and to main event shows. Now both women and men get to showcase that. It’s the best part of wrestling. I think it’s psychologically the best way that you can lay out a match. Tag wrestling is superior to singles. I’m sorry!”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Bucks commented on possibly bringing back ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ as their AEW theme song. Check out their full comments here.
The Young Bucks will team with Josh Alexander to face Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express at AEW Full Gear. Check out other matches for the show by clicking here.
