WWE Writer Pitched Idea Of Chelsea Green Winning Royal Rumble By Entering At #30 After Everyone Else Had Been Eliminated

An idea for Chelsea Green to win the women’s Royal Rumble.
WWE and Netflix have rolled out episodes of the ‘WWE: Unreal’ series. One of the show scenes saw Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque speaking to his creative writing team about the winners of the 2025 men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
Levesque stated that the team was solid on who they thought should win the men’s match, but he needed more time with the women’s winner.
One of the writers chimed in and asked if there was an underdog talent that Levesque wanted to take a swing on. Another writer then threw out the idea of the number #29 entrant and the other talent in the ring to do a double elimination. That would lead to the number #30 entrant automatically being declared the winner, and that #30 spot would be Chelsea Green’s.
“Horrible option. You get entrant #29 in there, and they come in, there’s only two women. They end up doing a double elimination. So whoever’s number 30, automatically wins. Chelsea Green. Walks down, wins the Royal Rumble. That’s it.”
Green did participate in the women’s Royal Rumble bout and entered at the #5 spot. She spent 26 minutes in the match before being accidentally eliminated by Piper Niven. Charlotte Flair went on to win the match.
