Live Coverage

– The show kicked off with Seth Rollins’ faction of Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker heading to the ring. Corey Graves and Michael Cole presented a video package showcasing all the different enemies the group had created over the past week. They also announced that LA Knight is out indefinitely after being the victim of Tsunamis from Reed.

– The crowd is electric and giving babyface reactions to Rollins’ crew. Rollins plays into it, and there are multiple chants for CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Breakker, and Rollins. Seth says it’s painfully apparent that the crowd doesn’t know what they want, so he doesn’t care what they want. He says they need visionaries like him to tell them what is good for them. He says that even the things they think they want are because of him. He says Roman Reigns exists because of him. He says CM Punk is back because of him. He says Cody Rhodes is back because of him.

He continues, running down his own resume of firsts, and says the WWE exists as it does because of the things he has built in his image. He says that he and his Oracle, Paul Heyman, know a great deal about revolutions, and that he tries to deal with things diplomatically until action must be taken. That’s what happened to LA Knight and what will happen to Penta. He calls the Money in the Bank briefcase the end game and says that the plan was always for everything to revolve around him. Penta interrupted him by coming out for his match with Breakker

– Seth Rollins told Penta that he was being given one last warning to stay out of their way.

– A recap was shown of Liv Morgan getting injured last week. It was said that she would miss multiple months of action. There was no specific number of months or a direct date for her return.

– Backstage, Adam Pearce informed AJ Styles that Dominik Mysterio was also injured and their upcoming Intercontinental Championship match was being postponed. He promised AJ that he would still get the first crack at the Intercontinental Championship when Mysterio was cleared. AJ leaves, and New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) and Grayson Waller entered the room. Adam told them that they would be defending the World Tag Team Championship next week against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.

– A video package showed the history between Gunther and Goldberg. Then, a clip was shown of Michael Cole sitting with Goldberg. He explained why he is taking this match against Gunther. Michael Cole said after the clip aired that he asked Goldberg if this was definitively his final match, and Goldberg said it was. Michael Cole then said that when he asked about what happens if Goldberg wins the title, the WWE Hall of Famer called it an “interesting dilemma.”

– Backstage, Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio were discussing Liv Morgan’s injury. Balor tried to hype everybody up. He told Raquel to deal with Rhea Ripley. Dom said he still missed Liv, and Perez tried to console him before going out for her match with Jade Cargill.

– Backstage, Lyra Valkyria wished Bayley good luck against Becky Lynch tonight. There was a brief moment of tension between them, and Becky Lynch was shown in the background watching this moment unfold. Bayley and Valkyria would say that they were cool by the end of the interaction.

– Backstage, Sheamus told Natalya and Maxxine Dupri that they would someday be the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, they were disappointed that he lost last week; he said at least he had momentarily silenced Rusev. Rusev confronted him, accusing Sheamus of being two-faced, which led Sheamus to call him the most egotistical member of the League of Nations and challenge him to a match.

– Gunther stormed to the ring. He said it’s not 1999 anymore, it’s 2025. He apologized to Goldberg’s wife and son for what he must do. He said it’s his personal responsibility to make sure the myth of Goldberg dies.

– Backstage, Jackie Redmond attempts to interview Becky Lynch. Becky mentions that Lyra and Bayley are trying to team up to steal the women’s Intercontinental Championship from her. She then storms off. Redmond then approaches Sami Zayn to talk about missing out on the opportunity to win King of the Ring. Karrion Kross interrupts, stating that the moment has passed for Zayn to become a world heavyweight champion. Zayn punches him in the mouth and says he has spoken to Adam Pearce. Their match is now official. It was later announced for WWE Night of Champions.

* Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bayley gets thrown out after Lyra Valkyria attacks Becky Lynch.
