WWE ID Champions To Be Crowned During WWE SummerSlam Weekend At GCW Event
The first-ever WWE ID Champions will be crowned during WWE SummerSlam weekend in East Rutherford, NJ.
The championship bouts will take place at GCW Presents The ID Showcase on August 1st.
The WWE ID Women’s Title bout will pit Kylie Rae against Zara Zakher and Zayda Steel in a triple threat match.
The WWE ID Men’s Title bout will be a singles match with participants to be determined on July 19th at House Of Champions Presents The ID Showcase in Orlando.
The following tournament matches are set for July 19th:
Quarterfinal: Jack Cartwheel vs. Sean Legacy
Semi-Final: Brad Baylor vs. Cartwheel/Legacy winner
Quarterfinal: Bryce Donovan vs. Cappuccino Jones
Semi-Final: Ice Williams vs. Donovan/Jones winner
Brad Baylor and Ice Williams received byes to the semi-finals as a result of their record in the round robin portion of the tournament.
The winners of the semifinal matches will compete on August 1st to crown the first-ever ID Men’s Champion.

ID Championships are open to be defended against all independent talents. If a non-ID talents win the title, they will be signed to a WWE Independent Development contract.
