Will Ospreay Credits Anita Vaughan & Safire Reed For ‘Invisible John Cena’ Idea At EVE Show

Ospreay directs the credit to Vaughan and Safire.

Pro-Wrestling: EVE held a show on February 6th that was headlined by the Multiverse Rumble, which saw wrestlers dress up as big names from the wrestling and pop culture worlds.

There was a point in the match when ‘Invisible John Cena’ entered. Wrestlers proceeded to take moves, and there were some eliminations by the invisible Cena.

Will Ospreay, who is a producer for EVE, talked to Pep Shop Collectibles about the moment and said he was not aware that it was happening. He revealed that Anita Vaughan and Safire Reed are to be credited for it.

“So I knew about the DX thing. I didn’t know about the John Cena thing so that was such an amazing thing to watch… I think the last time I checked, that video got like over four million views. So, all credit to Anita (Vaughan) and Safire (Reed) who constructed this brilliant idea to have John Cena walk out because you couldn’t see him, and hit his five moves of doom and eliminate DX.”

Ospreay is promoting EVE’s Wrestle Queendom 8 show on March 8th. It is taking place at Indigo at The O2 in London.
