wXw Pro Wrestling Grand-Prix
3 elite tournaments in one weekends – 7 events streaming worldwide
Gelsenkirchen, 22 September 2025

wXw is continental Europe’s leading pro wrestling promotion. The wXw festivals like 16 Carat Gold are among the worldwide highlights of independent wrestling. Leading up into the 25th Anniversary is the first-ever Pro-Wrestling Grand Prix, the name being a nod to the legendary days of traditional German & Austrian “Catchen” with their tournament-centric approaches.

Four out of the seven events will contain the three tournaments, them being König der Catcher, Femmes Fatales and the World Tag Team Tournament.

König der Catcher is a round robin style singles male tournament. It is the first such tournament at a wXw festival in over 10 years. The last such tournament was won by deceased wXw Hall of Famer Karsten Beck, thus using his nickname as the name of the tournament. Joining continental European wrestling standouts Ahura, Bobby Gunns, Elijah Blum, wXw Shotgun Champion Hektor Invictus, Joseph Fenech Jr., wXw European Champion Marius Al-Ani are US wrestlers Adam Priest and LaBron Kozone.

Femmes Fatales is the yearly female elimination-style singles tournament. Participants this year are last year’s winner Anita Vaughan, B3CCA, Baby Allison, Emersyn Jayne, Leyla Hirsch, Orsi, Safire Reed and Stephanie Maze.

The World Tag Team Tournament is a tag team elimination-style tournament. Joining current wXw World Tag Team Champions Planet Gojirah are Dragon Kid & Dragon Dia, Greedy Souls, Gulyas Bros. Hype Dawgs, KxS, The Grind and Violence is Forever.

Making their wXw debuts are Tetsuya Naito & Bushi as Los Tranquilos de Japan, performing exclusively on Show 2 (Saturday afternoon) against Metehan & Rambo.

The weekend also includes three non-tournament shows in We Love Wrestling 71, Inner Circle and the Extreme Wrestling Party, a wild show with a midnight starting time on Friday night featuring wXw Hall of Fame wrestler Iceman in the company’s first Fans bring the Weapons Match in around 15 years and a 4 Corners of Pain Match between Matthew Justice and Emersyn Jayne. Also on this card is ECW legend Super Crazy.

The complete weekend streams with German commentary to wXw’s YouTube membership channel and with English commentary to TrillerTV+. The first half of Show 1 streams for free on YouTube and on TrillerTV.
