Wes Lee Released By WWE

Wes Lee has been released by WWE.

Fightful and Cory Hays of PWN have both reported the news. Lee has not confirmed the news of his departure.

Lee was signed by WWE in 2022, teaming with Zachary Wentz (Nash Carter in WWE) as MSK. The duo won the NXT Tag Team Titles, but had to vacate after Wentz was released. Lee found singles success during his WWE run, winning the NXT North American Championship and holding the title for 269 days.

He was most recently aligned with Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont as High Ryze.

Lee last wrestled on TV on the July 29th episode of NXT, losing to Je’Von Evans.

Before signing with WWE, Lee competed as Dezmond Xavier on the independent scene and in TNA Wrestling. He is part of the Rascalz along with Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Myron Reed.

Fightful will provide more information on Lee’s departure when they are known.
