Trish Stratus Gets Standing Ovation At WWE Evolution, Tiffany Stratton Retains WWE Women’s Title
Tiffany Stratton retained her WWE Women’s Title at WWE Evolution, defeating WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
The finish saw Tiffany hit the Prettier Moonsault Ever for the victory.
Ahead of the finish, Tiffany blocked a moonsault attempt by Trish by getting her knees up. Tiffany followed up with a chick kick and an alabama slam before hitting the PME.

After the match, the crowd gave Trish a standing ovation and chanted “Thank You Trish” as she acknowledged the chant.

The bout between Trish and Tiffany was made official on the July 4th episode of WWE SmackDown when Tiffany got to choose her opponent for WWE Evolution. Trish and Tiffany teamed together at WWE Elimination Chamber to defeat Nia Jax & Candice LeRae.
This was Stratton’s sixth defense of the WWE Women’s Title. She won the title on the January 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown when she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Nia Jax.
WWE Evolution marked the first singles match for Trish Stratus since WWE Payback 2023 and he first singles title match since WWE Unforgiven 2006.
