Triple H: It’s Incredible To Have Brock Lesnar Back
Brock Lesnar made a shocking return at WWE SummerSlam, coming out at the end of the show and hitting John Cena with an F5.
It was Lesnar’s first appearance in WWE since SummerSlam 2023 when he lost to Cody Rhodes. Brock Lesnar was implicated, and later named, in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon, which was filed in January 2024, where she accused McMahon of sex trafficking and sexual assault.
Speaking at the WWE SummerSlam post-show, Triple H commented on Brock’s return.
“My reaction was, exactly what I thought it was going to be, if there had been a roof on this place, it wouldn’t be there anymore. The dynamic in the room changes when The Beast is here. Seeing Brock Lesnar comeback…anything you thought was happening sort of all goes out the window because the factor of Brock now just changes that dynamic. It makes it so unpredictable. Incredible to have him back,” said Triple H.
WWE stopped doing press conferences with the media during SummerSlam weekend, instead having Triple H and wrestlers on the panel with Joe Tessitore, Big E, and Peter Rosenberg.
