Triple H: WWE Fans Thought They Wouldn’t Get To See Brock Lesnar Return. We’re Thrilled To Have Him Back

Brock Lesnar made his WWE return at SummerSlam 2025, marking his first WWE appearance since SummerSlam 2023.

Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Triple H was asked about Lesnar’s return.

“Whatever the hell he wants,” Triple H said when asked what was next for Lesnar. “When you’re Brock Lesnar, you sort of….when that music hits and you walk down the aisle, it doesn’t matter where he is, he sort of does what he wants to do. We’re thrilled to have The Beast back. We hit him up and said, ‘Time to come home.’ He was into it and here we are. A massive, massive moment for our WWE fans, something that they thought they wouldn’t get to see. Making a statement with John Cena. Huge. We’re thrilled to have him back.”

In January 2024, Lesnar was implicated in a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and WWE, accusing McMahon of sex trafficking and sexual assault. In her amended lawsuit in February 2025, Lesnar was outright named. He is not a defendant in the lawsuit.
