Triple H Wanted Tiffany Stratton To Apologize To Charlotte Flair After Divorce Line On WWE SmackDown

WWE Unreal premiered on Netflix on Tuesday, July 29 with Netflix taking fans behind the scenes of WWE from the Netflix premiere to WrestleMania 41.

Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair was a heated rivalry going into WrestleMania 41 with Charlotte winning the women’s Royal Rumble and choosing to face WWE Women’s Champion Stratton.

The two engaged in a split screen promo on the March 21st episode of WWE SmackDown with Michael Hayes saying, Charlotte “stepped on Tiffany in a way that wasn’t good for the story.”

On the April 4th WWE SmackDown, Tiffany brought up Charlotte’s divorces, saying “You might be Queen inside of the ring but outside of the ring, you ain’t the Queen of shit. When I beat you at WrestleMania, Charlotte, you are going to be just like you are outside of the ring, alone. What is that record? 0-3? Woooo!”

Backstage after the segment, Triple H and talking with Tiffany and finding out what part of the promo wasn’t scripted. Tiffany says the back half of the promo wasn’t.

SVP of Creative Writing Ed Koskey is talking with Triple H, saying, “Apparently, it was the divorce line that sent her over the edge. She’s upset. It obviously wasn’t written in the promo.”

Triple H comments, “I need Tiffany to understand that’s obviously not how we do this. So, she needs to go to Charlotte and apologize and they need to get on the same page.”

The two worked WrestleMania 41 without issue, with Stratton picking up the victory.

After the match, Charlotte says Tiffany has a bright future and Triple H says, “That’s how you put someone over.”
