Trick Williams talks his upcoming TNA World Title defense at Slammiversary.

On July 20th, Trick Williams is scheduled to defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a triple threat match. Previously, Trick has defeated both men with the world championship on the line.

While speaking on the Battleground podcast, Trick was asked about his upcoming match at TNA Slammiversary, noting that he has never been more confident heading into his TNA World Heavyweight title defense.

“Man, I’ve never been more confident in my life. Why? Because I’ve beaten the average Joe and I’ve beaten the loud and proud Mike Santana. While we’re speaking about Mike Santana, I heard he’s from Jersey. So all that New York talk about him being down the road, I heard he has to get his family on a bus just to make it to the show. Let’s talk about it.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Williams would speak about possibly being called up to the WWE main roster as TNA World Heavyweight champion. You can read more about that here.

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Williams spoke about his desire to face off with AJ Styles with the TNA World Title on the line. You can read more about that here.
