Trick Williams Bails On Ricky Saints, Team TNA Wins Men’s Elimination Match At NXT vs. TNA Showdown

Team TNA closes the night with a win.

The final match of the evening at NXT vs. TNA Showdown was the four-on-four men’s elimination match between Team NXT (Je’Von Evans, Ricky Saints, Trick Williams & Myles Borne) and Team TNA (Moose, Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian & Leon Slater).

The special guest referee for the bout was Joe Hendry. The eliminations included Kazarian eliminating Myles Borne and Slater eliminating his Bound For Glory opponent, Je’Von Evans.

Later in the bout, TNA World Champion Trick Williams opted to bail on the NXT Champion Ricky Saints and left him in a four-on-one situation. Saints was able to eliminate Kazarian and Slater, but he was unable to overcome Moose and Mike Santana. Santana wrapped up the bout by pinning Saints.
