Trey Miguel Would Love To Compete In WWE’s Presentation Of Ultimate X Match
Miguel would like to see WWE present the TNA staple.
There is a new International Champion in TNA Wrestling, and it is Trey Miguel. He won the title from NXT’s Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo at TNA’s No Surrender special.
On the lead-up to the match, Miguel was making the media rounds, and one of his stops was with Kevin Kellam of Q101.
As the conversation moved along, Miguel said he’d like to see WWE present an Ultimate X match, and Miguel added that he wants to be part of it.
“You wanna know something that’s weird in the back of my mind is I would love for NXT, or WWE in any facet, to do an Ultimate X match and be a part of the first time that that happens. The Ultimate X is something I’ve become very comfortable with doing, and the first time I did it, it freaked me out a whole lot but because of the endless possibilities that this partnership now opens up — WWE has their things that they do, and TNA has their things that they do. But I think if you’re going to pick one thing that’s unique about TNA, what they offer as far as these match stipulations and such, I think we can all agree that the Ultimate X is probably the most standout thing that TNA’s ever done, and if we brought that over to WWE, even just one time, I would do anything to be a part of that first time it ever happens.”
Miguel last wrestled for WWE in October 2025 at an NXT house show. He challenged Ethan Page for the North American Championship.
Miguel will be defending his TNA International Title against Stacks on the 2/19 Thursday Night iMPACT.
