Trey Miguel Captures TNA International Championship At No Surrender
A rollercoaster of a 2025 for Miguel.
The first championship match of the night at TNA Wrestling’s No Surrender special was the TNA International Title bout.
The champion Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo put the title on the line against Trey Miguel. Miguel was accompanied to the ring by singer/songwriter Teddy Swims.
Arianna Grace was ejected from ringside, and then Miguel went on to get the best of Stacks to capture the International Championship. Post-match, TNA President Carlos Silva put the title around Miguel’s waist. Teddy Swims celebrated with Miguel as well.
Miguel initially finished up with TNA Wrestling along with fellow members of The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed). All four talents were signed to All Elite Wrestling and were scheduled to debut as a four-man group.
Miguel ended up being released from his contract due to a past post he made on social media that was homophobic. Miguel apologized for what he posted immediately after it was sent out. It was heavily implied to Fightful Select that Miguel’s AEW release came from Warner Bros. Discovery.
He returned to TNA in January and is back under contract with the promotion.
