Tony Khan On NJPW Saying Andrade El Idolo Is Representing AEW: It Bodes Well

Andrade El Idolo made his return to NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 20 after a non-compete dispute with WWE kept him sidelined for months.

While in Japan, Andrade was billed as representing AEW despite not appearing on AEW TV since Dynamite Sixth Anniversary, which kicked off the non-compete dispute.

Speaking to Tim & Eli on Battleground, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Andrade representing AEW.

“I would say that bodes well. I think it bodes very well,” said Tony.

It is unknown when Andrade El Idolo will return to AEW TV.

Elsewhere during the interview, Tony commented on AEW talent possibly competing in the NJPW G1 Climax 36. Fans can read his comments here.
