Tony Khan Feels Samoa Joe Would Be A First-Ballot Candidate For AEW Hall Of Fame

Samoa Joe receives high praise from Tony Khan.

Going into AEW WrestleDream weekend, a media call with AEW President Tony Khan was held. Samoa Joe became a topic of conversation, and Khan heaped praise on the former AEW World Champion.

While he was speaking about Joe’s accomplishments in AEW and in wrestling in general, Khan stated that if AEW were to create a Hall of Fame, Joe would be a first-ballot candidate.

“From the first time I ever worked with him at Ring of Honor Supercard when he first came in in 2022, and everything he’s done over the past three and a half years, Samoa Joe has carved out a legacy. He’s a Hall of Famer in Ring of Honor, and if and when we ever do an AEW Hall of Fame, he would be certainly, in my opinion, be a first ballot candidate for that as well…

Joe is scheduled to challenge Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream.
