Tony Khan Confirms That He Expects MJF To Return To AEW Soon

Khan states that he’s hopeful MJF will be back soon.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select pushed out a report that MJF is expected to return to All Elite Wrestling ‘sooner than later.’

A question about MJF’s status was posed to AEW President Tony Khan during his appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. Khan confirmed that he’s hopeful that MJF will be back with the company soon.

“I expect Max to be back hopefully very soon. Max is somebody who has been a huge part of why this has been a great year and even though he hasn’t been available every single week, I think he’s done some really great things in and out of the ring this year…”

MJF was last in action at AEW All Out, where he fell in defeat to Mark Briscoe in a Tables ‘N Tacks match. After his loss, MJF said that when he comes back to AEW, he’ll be a ‘changed man.’
