Tony Khan Confirms Kota Ibushi Was Supposed To Be In Action At AEW WrestleDream

Tony Khan speaks about Kota Ibushi.

At the AEW Collision taping at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, Kota Ibushi was in action against Josh Alexander. Ibushi ended up suffering a broken femur, which he has since undergone successful surgery for.

Ibushi was brought up during the pre-AEW WrestleDream media call, and company President Tony Khan confirmed that Ibushi was supposed to be in action at the pay-per-view on October 18th.

Khan added that Ibushi had just secured a new visa. Ibushi shared a photo of Khan visiting him in the hospital post-surgery, and Khan stated on the media call that Ibushi was in great spirits.

There is no timetable for how long Ibushi will be out of action.
