Tony Khan Confirms Adam Copeland Is Off AEW TV Because He’s Filming

The reason why Copeland is off AEW TV.
Coming out of AEW All Out, there was a backstage segment with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Copeland stated that because of FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) attacking Beth Phoenix, he had to step away and did not know when he’d be back.
PWInsider would go on to report that Copeland’s write-off is because he’s filming the new season of the Disney+ series ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians.’ During an interview with Z100 New York, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Copeland is away filming.
“Adam Copeland’s a huge part of AEW. Adam’s out filming right now. He’s a huge star in AEW. We love having Adam Copeland, The Rated-R Superstar in AEW and I’m excited for him to be back in AEW, hopefully soon after this project is done, and he’s taking care of business and then Adam will come back and we’ll get Adam Copeland taking care of the business in the ring in AEW.”
AEW is coming off the heels of the WrestleDream pay-per-view, and the post-PPV edition of Dynamite is taking place on 10/22 from San Antonio, Texas. Collision will also be taped that night.
