Toni Storm Still Wants To Face Wendi Richter, Names Torrie Wilson As A Potential Opponent

“Timeless” Toni Storm has taken on all challengers in AEW, defeating the likes of Mercedes Mone, Mariah May (Blake Monroe in WWE), Mina Shirakawa, Megan Bayne, Athena, and more during her reign as champion.

Who is left for Toni to finally conquer?

“Wendi Richter. I’ve been asking this for years now,” Toni told Ariel Helwani on the Ariel Helwani Show when asked about potential opponents.

Asked if there is an active competitor she would like to face, Toni said, “Oh, you’ve got Torrie Wilson on your show today, don’t you? I pick her.”

Asked if she’s met Torrie, Toni replied, “Briefly. Not as much as I’d like to meet her, meet her.”

Torrie hasn’t competed since she was in the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble.

Toni is set to defend her AEW Women’s Title in a four-way match against Thekla, Kris Statlander, and Jamie Hayter at AEW All Out.
