Toni Storm: I’m Glad I Banished Mariah May, I’m A Big Fan Of Blake Monroe
“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May (Blake Monroe in WWE) had one of the fiercest rivalries in AEW history as the two engaged in a love story with betrayal and a tragic ending.
Storm defeated May in a Hollywood Ending match at AEW Revolution, which marked May’s last AEW appearance before she eventually signed with WWE.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show, Storm, speaking in character, was asked about her rivalry with May.
“We’ve all had relationships like Mariah that end in broken glass, fist fights, bloody kisses. What can I say about Mariah. She’s the single most evil cold-hearted bitch I’ve ever met in my life. I can honestly say that. I’m glad that I’ve banished her. I really did compromise her to a permanent end, but I’m a big fan of that Blake Monroe,” said Toni.
Asked if she’s seen the work of Blake Monroe, Toni replied, “I’ve seen a bit, but I don’t study it religiously. It’s wonderful.”
Toni said that it was easy to be positive about Mariah because she is now gone.
