Thekla: I Didn’t Even Know I Was On Probation, Nobody Told Me

Thekla had no idea she was on probation.

Upon her debut in All Elite Wrestling, Thekla would begin attacking other talent, starting with Jamie Hayter. Soon after, she would be signed to AEW and given an ‘All Elite Graphic’. Along with the graphic, Tony Khan would also reveal that the Austrian talent had been under a probationary period since signing with the promotion.

While speaking to RJ City on the latest episode of Hey! (EW), Thekla was asked about her time in Japan and how it came to an end, with RJ noting that she was kicked out of HATE, which the Austrian corrected him on.

“No, I was kicked out of Japan. That’s different. I wasn’t kicked out of HATE.”

RJ continued, noting how ‘The Toxic Spider’ was fired from STARDOM after attacking the companies owner, Taro Okada.

“He had it coming.” she said.

Finally, RJ brought up Thekla’s probationary period that she was under when she signed with All Elite Wrestling, with the former STARDOM name noted that she had no idea that she had been under probation.

“I didn’t even know I was on probation, to be honest. Nobody told me.”
