The Rock Says “We’ll See” When Asked If He’ll Run For President Of United States

The idea of running for U.S. President was brought up to Johnson.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is on a press run to promote ‘The Smashing Machine,’ a movie in which he plays UFC Hall of Famer and former MMA fighter Mark Kerr.

One of Johnson’s stops along the press run was with Variety. The outlet asked him if he’d be interested in running for President of the United States. Johnson responded with the following:

“It’s wild, man. I’m always honored when people ask that. I love what I do. I love storytelling. But yeah… we’ll see.”

The current President of the United States is Donald Trump. One of Trump’s latest actions was having the Department of Education pull millions of dollars from Chicago Public Schools’ funding because the schools would not get rid of their Black Student Success Plan, and the district would not ban transgender students from using bathrooms or competing in sports that match their gender identities.
