The Miz: Logan Paul Is Going To Continue To Have To Prove Himself Every Time He Goes Out Into That Ring Just Like I Did

The Miz believes Logan Paul will continue to have to prove himself.

The Miz talks his similarities between himself and Logan Paul.

In the leadup to WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul and Miz would strike up a partnership leading to Logan’s first match with WWE at the event, defeating Rey and Dominik Mysterio in tag team action. Since then, Paul has become a full time WWE superstar in his words, but has had his fair share of critics in a similar vein to how The Miz faced similar criticism after crossing over from The Real World.

While discussing how he was the original influencer turned wrestler on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Miz would highlight the similarities between himself and Logan, noting that Paul will have to continue to work hard to prove himself.

“I mean, look what Logan Paul’s doing right now. He’s an outsider, right? Who was the first outsider? Who was the first person that came into this industry and literally nobody wanted because, let’s face it, we’re a pact here. We’re a family here in wrestling, and nobody comes into our family just to be a 15 minutes of fame. We want to see if you want to earn it. We want to see if you are a mainstay. You’re going to be here. You have the love for this business. So I had to prove myself to everyone and continue to prove myself to just like Logan Paul is going to continue to have to prove himself each and every time he goes out into that ring.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, The Miz noted that Vince McMahon told him in 2009 that he was ‘too goofy’. You can read more about that here.
