The Infantry Names Swerve Strickland, Steve Maclin, Big Swole, & More As Possible Team Expansion Picks

Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean have interesting picks for The Infantry.

Just over a year ago, Carlie Bravo, Shawn Dean, and Trish Adora joined forces with Shane Taylor Promotions, which featured Taylor, Lee Moriarty, and Anthony Ogogo at the time. Many fans consider all three of those names to technically be a part of The Infantry now.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Bravo and Dean were asked to pick possible names for a hypothetical group expansion.

“My first name without a question, Steve Maclin.” Carlie Bravo said. “That’s my dog. Steve Macklin was in the infantry in the Marine Corps, just like I was. He’s the man. He’s a close friend. That’s the first one. Second one, Air Force veteran. I got to put him in there, Swerve. That’s all. From there, we take the world over after that.”

Shawn Dean followed up Bravo’s suggestion with a former NXT name and a former AEW name.

“If I had to add one it’d be like Tehuti Miles. A lot of people don’t know he’s a military veteran himself, served his great country as well, and he’s out here doing his thing on the scene. I think if I had if I had to add another female into the group, it’s gotta be Big Swole. If Big Swole was to wrestle and do her thing, she’d be another female veteran that I would throw in a group.”
