The Godfather: Vince McMahon’s 80th Birthday Was All First Class
Vince McMahon celebrated his 80th birthday in August with guests from WWE past and present.
The Godfather was in attendance for the celebration, and he reflected on what went down while speaking to EsportsBets.
“We had a great time at Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday party. All first class. Vince rented out a whole hotel, so it was just us. I had a good time. A lot of friends there, a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long time. There was a cocktail party the night before. Me, Taker, Bruce Pritchard, Booker T and somebody else had a shot of Jack, and that’s the only shot I had. Then the next night they had the party, it was really fun. I had a great time. Vince, he’s still going, man, he looks good,” he said.
Attendees at his party walked away with a custom Vince McMahon bust.
The Undertaker, John Cena, Kane, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Maryse, JBL, Jerry Lawler, R-Truth, Teddy Long, and more were reportedly in attendance.
Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit in January 2024 against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. McMahon resigned from TKO/WWE following the lawsuit being filed. Laurinaitis has since been dropped from the lawsuit. The lawsuit is still active.
