Texas Death Match Added To MLW Fightland Lineup

New addition to the Fightland card.

Coming up on September 13th for Major League Wrestling is their Fightland special. It is emanating from North Richland Hills, Texas, and a new addition has been made to the card.

There is going to be a Texas Death Match between Hammerstone and Matthew Justice. Below is MLW’s write-up about the bout:

When the dust settles at MLW FIGHTLAND on Saturday, September 13, only one man will be left standing.

This grudge has been simmering ever since Summer of the Beasts, when MLW President Cesar Duran made a last-minute decision to add Matthew Justice to the scheduled National Openweight Title match, turning it into a triple threat bout. For Hammerstone, it was a betrayal—and a direct roadblock on his path back to championship gold.

Hammerstone came within seconds of reclaiming the title, only for Justice to crash the moment. After the bell, frustration turned physical as the two erupted in a violent post-match confrontation, throwing live rounds until MLW security intervened. The tension hasn’t cooled since.

Hammerstone has since lashed out, labeling Justice “Mud Show Matt,” mocking his no-rules brawling style and questioning his place in MLW. But Justice hasn’t backed down—firing back by calling out Hammerstone for walking away from the league, claiming, “I bleed MLW. You left to chase greener pastures.”

Now, there’s nowhere to run. No titles. No disqualifications. No escape.
