Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI In Process Of Securing U.S. Visas, Naito Speaks About Not Being Able To Use His NJPW Theme Song

Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI are going to be in action for Revolution Pro Wrestling.

Naito and BUSHI’s first show date as Los Tranquilos de Japon.

The first date on the calendar for Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI’s post-NJPW run is Revolution Pro Wrestling’s ‘Summer Sizzler’ show on July 25th.

After wrapping up with New Japan in May, the duo rebranded as Los Tranquilos de Japon. Tokyo Sports interviewed them, and BUSHI stated that they are in the process of securing U.S. visas. BUSHI always pictured them returning to the ring in July, but with the visa situation, the RevPro show was perfect timing.

Naito: “Domestic options weren’t on the table. When I left New Japan Pro-Wrestling and wanted to see things I didn’t know about, I thought I could experience more new things overseas. I wanted to take my first step overseas.”

BUSHI: “I had imagined we’d be fighting in early July. But the U.S. visa didn’t come through. R.P.W. was the best fit in terms of timing.”

The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is not going to be able to use his ‘STARDUST’ theme. Naito shared his thoughts about that:

“I was involved in the songwriting process from the beginning, sharing my opinions multiple times. The Hiroshima Carp also used it as their chance theme, so I had a strong attachment to it. I really didn’t want to change it; I really didn’t want to change it, and I had a strong desire to walk with STARDUST, but I can’t use it. So, since I’ve left New Japan, I think I’ll take a step forward with regards to my entrance song.”

As a result of BUSHI and Naito departing NJPW, the Los Ingobernables de Japon stable disbanded after a 10-year run.
