Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI Become GHC Tag Team Champions At NOAH The New Year 2026

One of the matches on the marquee for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘NOAH The New Year 2026’ was a GHC Tag Team Championship bout. The champions, Kenoh and Naomichi Marufuji, were advertised to defend against Los Tranquilos de Japon (BUSHI and a mystery partner).
Come show time, BUSHI made his entrance first, and then the champions entered next. BUSHI then introduced his mystery partner, and Tetsuya Naito’s graphic popped up on the screens in the venue. A masked individual came from the entrance way, and when they eventually took the mask off, that person revealed themselves to be RYUSEI, who is a trainee of Naito’s.
Cameras then cut over to an entrance way where Tetsuya Naito was standing. Kenoh was furious that Naito entered last.
The conclusion of the bout saw BUSHI pin Marufuji to secure the victory and capture the GHC Tag Team Titles for Los Tranquilos de Japon.
It was Naito and BUSHI’s first in-ring appearance in Japan since they departed New Japan Pro-Wrestling in early 2025.
