Taya Valkyrie: ‘It Doesn’t Matter If You Get 1 Minute Or 45, You Make Every Second In Front Of Those Fans And On That TV Count’

On the November 8 edition of AEW Collision, Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize were scheduled to face TayJay in a tag team match. But reports said Nixon and Miranda walked out on AEW over a disagreement over allocated match time.

The wrestlers recently did a Twitch stream, where they cleared some misconceptions regarding the situation. They said there is no bad blood between them and AEW, and that they were polite when they explained their stance to the producer.

People backstage agreed with them that three minutes weren’t beneficial to anyone, so they were replaced by Maya World and Hyan. Fans can read Nixon and Miranda’s comments here.

Many wrestlers have reacted to the controversy so far, with Truth Magnum taking light jabs, and now Taya Valkyrie has also shared her thoughts on this.

“At the end of the day, this is a business, it is our job. It doesn’t matter if you get 1 minute or 45, you make every second in front of those fans and on that TV count. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of the show. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and I’ve been in every position, good, bad, champ, enhancement…. and every single aspect of the show, small or big is important. Make it count ❤️ And that’s my Ted talk.”

Fightful will keep fans updated when more is known about this situation.
