Tavion Heights Earns His Freedom From Charlie Dempsey On NXT

Tavion Heights is free of Charlie Dempsey and the No Quarter Catch Crew.
Tavion Heights earned his freedom by defeating Charlie Dempsey on the July 29 episode of WWE NXT. Unlike their previous match, there was no towel present for Wren Sinclair to throw to the referee to signal that she wanted to stop the match for Heights. As a result, he was able to fight through the pain, counter a Butterfly Suplex attempt, and pin Dempsey after a Belly-to-Belly Suplex.

Tavion Heights did appear to earn the respect of Charlie Dempsey, though. After the match, they shook hands. Dempsey did not do this when Myles Borne defeated him to gain his freedom from the group. Now, Wren Sinclair is the only one still by the side of the second-generation Superstar.
It’s not known what’s next for Charlie Dempsey in WWE NXT. However, he will be competing at Bloodsport.
