Steven Borden Jr Works ROH Taping Before AEW Collision
Steven Borden Jr was back in the ring ahead of AEW Collision.
The son of Sting competed at the ROH tapings at the eSports Arena in Arlington, TX, taking on Jon Cruz.
Borden previously competed in a dark match at the AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming tapings. He has also wrestled for DEFY in recent months.
It is unknown if Borden’s match against Cruz will air on ROH TV.
Fightful Select published the following report on Borden Jr on December 16:
Fightful reached out to Tony Khan himself who said “I THOUGHT HE WAS EXCELLENT. He’s doing a great job. Very exciting in my opinion.”
Another longtime member of AEW staff said that they thought Borden did great, and put over his physique, saying they’d sacrifice years of their NFL team winning to look like him. His physical look was among the most common responses we heard back from.
One source in AEW expected him to be under AEW contract before long if he’s not already.
