Steve Maclin Talks Upcoming India Debut, Says He’s Looking Forward To Representing TNA

Steve Maclin discusses his upcoming match in India.
On September 20 and 21, Global League Wrestling will host events in New Delhi, India. Along with Steve Maclin, other names set for the show include Parker Boudreaux, Jora Johl, Alexis Lee, and Mustafa Ali.
Speaking with News 18 for a new interview, Maclin talked about how much he is looking forward to his first trip to India.
“It’s just a new crowd I’ve never been in front of, a new country I’ve never been to. The closest I’ve been was Afghanistan when I was with the Marine Corps, and obviously that was under very different circumstances. So, I’m very much looking forward to this trip – to represent TNA Wrestling as the TNA International Champion.”
Maclin went on to say that he’s excited to experience the country and its culture.
“I’m just excited to get there, enjoy the culture, see the country a little bit, and connect with a brand-new fan base. It’s the first of many international stops, but India gets the honor of being the first. That makes it unforgettable already. I’m coming to India blindly, but with high hopes. I want to earn their respect and support. It’s about introducing myself and TNA live at GLW, to fans who may be watching live wrestling for the first time.”
This will be Maclin’s first time competing outside of North America since April 2025, when he wrestled for FutureShock Wrestling.
Elsewhere in a separate interview, Maclin recently named three WWE stars that he wants to wrestle. Check out his full comments here.
