Stephanie Vaquer Says WWE Wanted To Change Her Music When She Was Called Up To WWE Raw

Stephanie Vaquer began her WWE journey in NXT, signing with the company in July 2024.

Within a year, Vaquer had won the NXT Women’s North American Championship and NXT Women’s Championship before being called up to WWE Raw.

Throughout her entire run, she has been using the theme song “Bury Me,” though it was nearly changed when she was moved to the main roster.

“When I went to Raw, they said they wanted to change my music. I talked with Shawn Michaels. ‘Shawn, please, I love my music. I don’t want to change it.’ He’s like, ‘Okay, let me see what we can do.’ I think people love the music,” Vaquer told Chris Van Vliet on Insight.

Fortunately for fans of the song, Vaquer’s music was not changed.

Stephanie Vaquer will return to NXT on Tuesday at NXT Homecoming when she teams with Rhea Ripley & Lyra Valkyria against Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx, Fallon Henley, & Jacy Jayne).
