Stephanie Vaquer Says WWE Became Her Family After Moving To America

Stephanie Vaquer talks about moving to America.

Stephanie Vaquer is the first Chilean-born WWE Superstar. Vaquer signed with the company in July 2024 and is now on the WWE Raw Roster. Prior to her career in WWE, she also wrestled in Mexico for CMLL. Moving to another country is daunting in any capacity, let alone when you’re chasing your dream of being a WWE Superstar.

Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp ahead of WWE Wrestlepalooza,  Stephanie Vaquer discussed the challenges she faced when moving to America and stated that she’s still learning something new every day. However, she feels grateful for the support she gets in WWE and calls people within the company her family.

“It’s difficult. Everything is new. I changed my life, but I learn every day and many people help me. It’s hard because my family is not here and it’s a new language. I enjoy my career and feel happy because WWE supports me and this is my family. People in WWE help me every day. I’m happy. It’s hard and difficult, but I’m really happy.”

At WWE Wrestlepalooza, Stephanie Vaquer clashes with IYO SKY for the vacated Women’s World Title. Fightful recently interviewed IYO SKY ahead of the event. Check out that interview here.
