Stephanie McMahon Says Her Daughter Aurora Always Wanted To Be The Boss, Felt The Path Closed After Vince McMahon Allegations
Aurora McMahon, the daughter of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, has grown up in the business, given her parents’ position in the company.
Speaking on the What’s Your Story podcast, Stephanie discussed Aurora’s aspirations to be in the business before allegations against her granddad, Vince McMahon, came to light.
“She was on the road until she was about three, maybe even a little older. I’d wheel her into the arena on my briefcase. She would come to the production meetings. She’d get on the mic and sing the ABCs or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Then she said, “Mommy, I don’t want your job. Daddy, I don’t want your job. I want Pop’s job.’ She wanted to be the boss, from the get-go,” said Stephanie.
AJ Lee, who was the guest on the episode, asked if Stephanie would support her kids getting into wrestling.
Stephanie said she would, noting that Aurora had trained with Natalya a bit, but said that it wouldn’t be easy just because of her last name.
She continued, “Then, everything happened with dad in the business, and I left. I don’t realize the impact it had, necessarily, especially on Aurora, but on all of my kids. Aurora always saw a path forward to the business. When everything happened, suddenly, that wasn’t there anymore. She had to shift her focus and what she thought she was going to do. That happens in life, but it was a path that she suddenly felt wasn’t there anymore. Who knows, she might find her way back to it.”
Stephanie said that Aurora is now studying to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
