Spotfund Link: Bobby Horne (Sir Mo)

Donation link for the late Bobby Horne.

While the late Bobby Horne a.k.a. Sir Mo was fighting pneumonia and severe blood infection, a Spotfund link was set up for him.

The donation link is available, and the proceeds are going to cover the medical expenses that were tallied up during his stay at the hospital. Below is the bio that was written before his passing:

We all know Bobby Horne as more than just Sir Mo from Men On a Mission. We know him as a kind, humble, and selfless man who has dedicated his life to lifting others up. Whether you knew him from the bright lights of the WWF in the 1990s or from his tireless work developing young talent all over the world most notably Texas, Bobby has always lived true to his name. He has always been a “Man on a Mission” to help others.

Right now, Bobby is fighting for his life in a Texas ICU. He has been in the hospital for the past 8 weeks. He is battling a severe blood infection and pneumonia. His loving wife Denise Jones has been by his side every step of the way, sharing updates and celebrating every small sign of improvement.

This is not Bobby’s first fight. In 2018, he received a kidney transplant, which required lifelong medication and care. In 2022, he endured a serious case of COVID-19 that once again placed him in intensive care followed by an emergency hernia surgery resulting in his having an ileostomy. We truly thought we might lose him then, but in classic Bobby fashion, he kicked out and came back stronger, continuing his mission to mentor and guide the next generation of wrestlers.

Bobby rose to fame in the early 1990s as one half of the rapping, fan-favorite tag team Men On a Mission alongside Mabel (later known as Viscera). Together, they captured the WWF Tag Team Championships during a 1994 UK tour. When Mabel won the 1995 King of the Ring tournament, Bobby transitioned into the role of Sir Mo, continuing to entertain fans around the world.

In recent years, Bobby has dedicated himself to helping others through his work in SOAR Championship Wrestling in Dallas, where he and Denise have given countless young wrestlers their first real opportunity. His contributions were recognized in 2024 when he was inducted into the Memphis Wrestling Hall of Fame, honoring both his legacy and his generosity.

Despite his many achievements, Bobby has never been a wealthy man. He and Denise have always given everything they had to others. They have given their time, their money, and their hearts without ever asking for much in return. Now, they need us.

This fundraiser is to help cover the growing medical bills, ongoing care, and the many expenses that come with a fight of this magnitude. These funds will help to cover medical and living expenses during this hospital stay.

Whatever your beliefs may be, we ask that you keep Bobby in your thoughts. Say a prayer. Send strength. Share his story. He has always been there for others. Now, it is our turn to be there for him. Please consider donating, no matter the size of your contribution. Every bit helps, and every gesture matters.

Fightful would like to extend our condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Bobby Horne a.k.a. Sir Mo.
