Shingo Takagi Likes Idea Of Him Facing Místico At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20

Takagi has an idea for what he’d like to do at Wrestle Kingdom.

January 4th, 2026, is the date of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 20 event at the Tokyo Dome. With the event inching closer, it was brought up to Shingo Takagi while he was being interviewed by Planeta Wrestling.

Takagi was asked what he sees himself doing at the event, and he mentioned the idea of wrestling CMLL’s Místico.

“How about Místico? I think that would be pretty good.”

Takagi is gearing up for NJPW Destruction in Kobe on September 28th. He’ll be challenging Gabe Kidd for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.
