Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander To Team Up At United Pro Wrestling Show
It is being billed as a Hurt Business reunion.
CaroMont Health Park in Gastonia, North Carolina, is playing host to United Pro Wrestling’s September 13th event titled ‘Battleground in Gastonia.’
The promotion broke the news that the show will see a Hurt Business reunion as Cedric Alexander and current AEW World Tag Team Champion Shelton Benjamin will be tagging. It’ll be the first time they’ve teamed up since an April 2021 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Alexander is back on the independents after his run with WWE came to an end. He’s also working with TNA Wrestling and is scheduled to challenge Leon Slater for the X Division Championship at Emergence.
Benjamin is a part of The Hurt Syndicate with MVP and Bobby Lashley in AEW. Benjamin and Lashley have been reigning as World Tag Team Champions since January.
