There were multiple former NXT Champions and staples of the brand present at NXT Homecoming at Full Sail University.
Among those present was two-time NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler. While on her Twitch stream, Baszler commented on trending on social media after appearing at Homecoming, and then she responded to a chat user who mentioned Bobby Roode’s appearance on the show.
“Damn. I was the number seven trend on Twitter (after NXT Homecoming)… That clip going around on Twitter of Bobby Roode not getting a pop is an edit. It’s not real.”
Baszler has stated in past media appearances that although she is not contracted to WWE as a talent, she’d be open to taking on a producer role.
