Shawn Spears: I Hope Everyone Had A Wonderful Thanksgiving… Except Tatum

As leader of The Culling, Shawn Spears knew exactly what he was doing at NXT Gold Rush. Tatum Paxley capturing the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc was one of the biggest surprises of the year, but it quickly turned into a nightmare for Paxley.
Ultimately, she had the shortest reign in the history of the championship. At just 24 days, Paxley’s reign was cut short when Spears called for Izzi Dame to turn on her former partner. Dame, who’s continuing to work her way up the ladder, was more focused on costing Paxley the championship, rather than challenging her for the title down the line.
“I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Except Tatum.”
Spears latest post on social media shows just how little he thinks of the former NXT Women’s Champion. It’s not like Paxley needed the group’s help to become champion, and maybe that’s what upset Spears so much in the first place. Now, she’s all alone, back to square one. After thinking she had people to rely on, she quickly learned not to trust anyone in this business.
On the upcoming Tuesday, December 2 edition of NXT, Dame is set to explain herself. NXT returns to the Performance Center in Orlando, FL, as Paxley is one of many looking from answers from Spears and company.
