Seth Rollins On WWE In Saudi Arabia: We Get Paid By America, Too. You Think There Is No Blood Money There?

Seth Rollins weighs in on the WWE-Saudi partnership.

In March 2018, WWE and Saudi Arabia agreed to a ten-year partnership. WWE has annually hosted multiple events in Saudi Arabia as part of the agreement.

The next event to be held in Saudi will be the 2026 Royal Rumble.

Speaking to Jay Mohr on Mohr Stories, Rollins was asked if WWE gets as much shit as the comedians got for performing in Saudi.

“We’ve been going there for six years. We’ve been taking shit for six years,” said Rollins.

Mohr referenced being paid in blood money.

Rollins stated, “We get paid by America, too. You think there is no blood money there? Come on. Get out of here. We’ve gone there for six years. When we went in 2019, I was skeptical as well. ‘I don’t know about this.’ We go over there and the change in the culture and the people at our shows in six years has been incredible. When I tell you, we went there for the first time, there were no women on our show. No women backstage. Now, we go there and it’s just like a WWE show. There are a ton of women.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Rollins gave an update on how he’s feeling after undergoing surgery for his torn rotator cuff. You can find his full comments here.

In the same interview, Rollins confirmed he has three years left on his WWE contract.
