Seth Rollins: I’m Not Going To Be At The Royal Rumble

Seth Rollins is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery for a torn rotator cuff, but with his fake knee injury over the summer, not everyone is buying that this injury is real.

With the Royal Rumble taking place on Saturday, and the Rumble famously being known for its surprises, Rollins was asked about the possibility of him showing up in the match.

“Pump the brakes on me participating in the Royal Rumble. I’m not there yet. I just got my rotator cuff done in October. I have a couple months left to go. I wish I could get myself in there, but that’s not going to be the case,” Rollins stated on ESPN First Take.

He reiterated, “I’ll give it away. I’m not going to be at the Rumble. I just can’t. I would love to be in there and dump all those dudes over the top rope and punch my card to WrestleMania, but the doctors are not going to let it happen this time around, unfortunately.”

Rollins pulled off what was dubbed as the “Ruse of the Century” at WWE SummerSlam, faking a knee injury the month before at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, only to return to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on new WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
