Scott Steiner speaks on potentially working with Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock during the height of their popularity.
Steiner returned to WWE in 2002, with Austin and Rock still being a focal point of WWE television, but did not lock up with either man in an extended program before they both left the company later in the decade. Now, Steiner has spoken about the potential of working with either of them.
While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Scott Steiner was asked about potentially working with Stone Cold, noting that it would have been great after initially working together in WCW.
“That would have been great. I would have loved him, wrestling the Rock, you know, those guys were on top of the game.”
Scott was then asked about a potential feud with The Rock, noting that it would have been a disaster.
“Oh, man. A disaster. I would have had to take my name to Big Bad Booty Daddy or Big Daddy Disaster.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Steiner spoke about transitioning from WCW to WWE. You can read more about that here.
