Scott D’Amore: WWE Cutting Wes Lee Was A Mistake, Watch For Him To Prove That Very Soon

Scott D’Amore talks Wes Lee’s release.

On Friday, October 10, Wes Lee was released from WWE alongside other names like Stevie Turner, Lance Anoa’i, Jin Tala, and Drako Knox. The departure came as a shock to many fans, as Lee is a former NXT North American Champion and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion.

On his D’Amore Drop column, former TNA President Scott D’Amore slammed the release, saying that it was a mistake. D’Amore was also confident that Lee will prove that the company made the wrong decision.

“WWE cutting Desmond Xavier (Wes Lee) was a mistake. Watch for him to prove that very soon.”

‘The Kardiac Kid’ last wrestled for the company on September 29, teaming with his High Ryze faction at a NXT live event in Florida.

Lee has yet to comment on his release from WWE. Fightful will update fans when that changes.
