Saya Kamitani Suffers Dislocated Finger During World Of Stardom Title Main Event, Gets Finger Taped & Continues Wrestling

Kamitani got her finger taped and proceeded with the match.

Closing out STARDOM’s ‘Supreme Fight’ show on February 7th was a World of Stardom Title bout that saw Starlight Kid challenge Saya Kamitani for the championship.

As the bout was ongoing, Kamitani dislocated her finger.

The injury occurred about 10 minutes into the match. Kamitani countered Kid’s dive with a dropkick, but afterward, Kamitani fell to the mat. The referee checked on her, and then it was announced to the crowd that Kamitani dislocated her finger.

After a pause in the action, Kamitani’s finger was taped up, and she wrestled for 15 more minutes. She put Kid away to retain the title.

Kamitani’s reign as World of Stardom Champion is over the 400-day mark.
